Ravelco Limited Lifetime Warranty

The Ravelco Anti-Theft Device, when installed by an authorized Ravelco technician, is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, Ravelco will, at its option, either repair or replace any part of its products that prove defective. Repaired parts or replacement products will be provided by Ravelco on an exchange basis, and will be new. Ravelco’s responsibility is only to repair or replace the Ravelco products and not for any additional payment, regardless of the nature. This warranty does not cover any damage to this product that results from accident, abuse, misuse, natural or personal disaster, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification.  

 

Warranty Claim Procedures and Requirements  

The Ravelco Anti Theft Device is permanently installed on the original owner’s vehicle and cannot be transferred to another vehicle. The Ravelco warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. To obtain warranty service, you may contact the authorized Ravelco dealer or distributor from which you purchased the Ravelco product, or contact Ravelco Anti Theft Device World Headquarters directly at either www.ravelco.com or 281-341-6222. Please have your plug number and original sales invoice available, as well as a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing. You must present your vehicle and the original sales invoice to a Ravelco installation technician in a Ravelco service area in order to obtain warranty service.

THE FOREGOING IS THE COMPLETE WARRANTY FOR RAVELCO PRODUCTS AND SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH ABOVE, NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE WITH RESPECT TO RAVELCO PRODUCTS AND RAVELCO EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES NOT STATED HEREIN, INCLUDING, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL RAVELCO BE LIABLE TO THE PURCHASER OR TO THE USER OF A RAVELCO PRODUCT FOR ANY DAMAGES, EXPENSES, LOST REVENUES, LOST SAVINGS, LOST PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE  PURCHASE, USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE RAVELCO PRODUCT, EVEN IF RAVELCO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. MOREOVER, IN NO EVENT WILL RAVELCO BE LIABLE FOR FAILURES CAUSED BY OPERATOR ABUSE OR NEGLECT, FAILURES RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS OR ADJUSTMENTS, REIMBURSEMENT FOR ANY DOWNTIME, REIMBURSEMENT FOR RENTALS, DAMAGE DUE TO ACCIDENT OR MISUSE, OR REIMBURSEMENT FOR ANY TRAVEL OR TOWING.   

 

PLEASE FILE THIS WARRANTY WITH ALL OTHER IMPORTANT PAPERS.

GPS And TRACK WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE

(a) ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer warrants the Hardware (“Hardware Warranty”) against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of sale. The Hardware Warranty does not warrant the life of the Hardware’s battery during such one (1) year period and, as a result, the Hardware may become inoperable during the one (1) year Hardware Warranty period if the Hardware’s battery loses charge during such period. If Hardware is found to be defective in materials or workmanship during the limited warranty period, ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer will repair or replace the Hardware at its discretion and at its expense. (b) Under the provisions of certain Service Plans, You will receive maintenance services pursuant to which ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer will repair or replace (at ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer’s option) any verified failed Hardware electronic component. (c) ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer warrants that it will provide all Services in accordance with the applicable Plans and Product Brochures but does not warrant complete coverage or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. (d) If ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer or an Installer performs the installation, then ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer warrants the installation against defects in workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days. If the installation is defective as verified by ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer will re-perform the installation at no expense to You. (e) Your sole remedy for breach of any warranty is the right to repair or replacement of the defective Hardware and the right to receive a credit or refund (at ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer’s discretion) on Services not provided for reasons within ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer’s control. No allowance will be given for any single failure or delay that does not exceed forty-eight hours. (f) To obtain warranty or maintenance service, You must contact the local ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer office. ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer may instruct You to obtain a Returned Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”), adequately package the products, ship the products to the address provided by ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer, and mark the RMA number prominently on the outside of the carton. Products received without an RMA number will be returned freight collect. ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer will return the repaired products prepaid and fully insured. Alternatively, at ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer’s option, ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer may remove and re-install the products. (g) ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer  is not obligated to provide the limited warranties or maintenance services if there has been any unauthorized alteration, modifications, or repair of the Hardware, if there is use with the Hardware of accessories or devices not approved as compatible by ProtectMyRide360 and the manufacturer, or in the case of accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, damage, tampering, improper installation, improper maintenance, unauthorized use, connection to an improper voltage supply, reception problems caused by an inadequate signal level in the operating area, damage due to exposure to the elements, failure to install or use the Hardware in accordance with instruction manuals, or acts of God. The limited warranties and maintenance services do not cover accessories, batteries, casings, coverings and other non-electrical components. (h) The limited warranties are in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. All other express or implied warranties, including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are expressly excluded, except where prohibited by law and, where prohibited, any such warranty shall be limited to the minimum warranty and period required by law. NO EMPLOYEE OR AGENT OF PROTECTMYRIDE360 AND THE MANUFACTURER HAS THE AUTHORITY TO GRANT ANY OTHER WARRANTY TO YOU, WRITTEN OR ORAL.
